Welcome to the latest edition of hog dog trials, we have been running our trials annually since 2004. It is run for fun and to give all the owners in the area a chance to show their hogs off to each other.

The trial schedule is from April until October each year and is open to either registered hogs or unregistered hogs.

Unregistered hogs will run from April to October. Register with the secretary at your next hog trial and he will give you a small chip to attach to your hogs ear. This is free to registered hogs and will not incur a fee to have a card, you can collect your card for a small donation at the finish.

Unregistered hogs will run from April to October and run from 8am until 5pm every day. The hogs will be given an arbitrary time to finish each day which will be marked with a flag. The fastest pig to finish the day will be declared the fastest and this pig will also receive a medal. There will be prizes given to the owner of the hogs that finish in the fastest time.

Registered hogs run from May until October and run every day except Sundays, the hogs will be given an arbitrary time to finish each day and the pig that finishes in the shortest time will be the winner and will also receive a medal.
